RM have won the contract subject to negoitiations. The first 16-20 schools will hopefully join the pilot in May.

Oxfordshire currently uses the Digitalbrain Learning Platform. We are moving to something else from April, though this is still in the "procurement" phase at the moment. There has been a shortlisting from the six initial bids to two shortlisted platforms. One of the platforms is the RM platform, the other is Uniservity. As the initial bids stand neither short listed companies offer a web-based website hosting facility as standard, something that MIGHT have a large impact on hundreds of Oxfordshire schools. This aspect is currently being studied and will be negotiated with the shortlisted companies as it is felt to be an important aspect. There are four opportunities for any staff to attend presentations from the two companies. These are being held in Banbury at the end of February and Oxford in early March. All schools have been contacted by letter and a copy of the letter has been posted to the OCN forum.
